The NSWCA is happy to announce that it will conduct a National Arbiters Seminar under the approval of the Australian Chess Federation (ACF). The lecturers will be NA Bill Gletsos and IA Winston Zhao Chen.
The National Arbiter title is the minimum requirement for any individual to arbit any FIDE-rated tournament. i.e. All FIDE-rated events, regardless of time control, must have at least one licensed national arbiter present at all times.

National Arbiter under the Australian Chess Federation:
To obtain the National Arbiter (NA) title, an individual must:
1.  Attend an ACF endorsed National Arbiter seminar
2.  Must be 16 years of age in order to obtain a National Arbiter title
3.  Pass an exam set by the lecturer at the end of the seminar (80% pass mark)

   4.  Be registered under the Australian flag on FIDE.

Times: 9am to 5pm both days

If the participant passes the exam, the NA licence fee of $37 is payable to ACF.
